BAPTISMAL INFORMATION

We are happy that you have chosen to celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism here at Ss. Peter & Paul RC Church. We’re sure that you will agree with us that the beauty of the church makes it a perfect setting for you, your family, and the godparents of your baby to come together to witness God’s blessings on your child.

We ask that you contact the church office for the following:

BIRTH INFORMATION – A copy of the Birth Certificate is required.

BAPTISMAL INFORMATION – Please contact the church office during business hours so that baptismal certificate information can be obtained and a date scheduled, 908-637-4269.

DAY & TIME – The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated on Saturdays at 11:00am.

BAPTISMAL CLASS – One baptismal class must be attended here at our church. The class is approximately 45 minutes long, and we ask that you and the godparents attend. You may also bring your child/children if you wish. Reservations must be made. Please contact the church office, 908-637-4269.

GODPARENTS – (See the "Sponsor Rules" tab on the left). At least one godparent must be a practicing Catholic (attends church regularly). Godparents are asked to obtain sponsor certificates from the church they attend and then forward them to the church office 1 week before the ceremony. The sponsor form must have a priest’s signature and the church seal.

OFFERING – The offering is $100.00 for registered parishioners, $150.00 for non-registered. If there is any reason that prevents you from donating this amount, please discuss it with the priest. Please send or drop off this donation 1 week prior to the Baptism.
